- Individual Attention: Our exceptionally low ratio between caregivers and infants ensures that your baby will receive the optimum care, attention and opportunities for development. Our infants are provided tender loving care with a variety of cognitive, emotional and physical activities to meet each child's individual needs. We exceed daycare standards for individual attention. Moments through out the day such as talking, singing, activities and play nourish the infant’s brain and emotional well being.
- Expressive Language Development: Small World Learning Center uses American Sign Language (ASL) to improve the way parents and teachers interact with infants. Using simple signs, our babies are able to communicate with their needs, wants and observations in a manner that adults can understand.
- Encouraging Individual Growth and Development: Everyday moments - smiling, talking and singing lovingly to a baby during feed time - provide nourishment for the brain and emotional well being. Young children mature and develop skills at different rates. With this in mind, Small World Learning Center infant teachers observe and record each child's development throughout the year.
Every day you will receive information and updates through the Daily Connect app which allows our teachers to chart your baby’s day and send messages and photos to you via e-mail. You will receive updates about your baby’s feeding, diaper changes, and sleeping times. You are also welcome to use Daily Connect to send your baby’s teacher a message.
