Your child is becoming more and more curious every day. It’s that natural sense of curiosity that we at Small World Learning Center use to teach them to learn and grow.
Within our home-like classrooms, your child is free to be anything from an artist to an engineer. Playing pretend, learning games, participating in hands-on activities – these are just a few ways we keep kids engaged. Plus, we encourage their natural curiosity, and willingness to try new things, so children discover how they learn best. In addition to basic skills, your child learns about self-direction, self-reliance, and self-esteem.
Encouraging Individual Growth, Development and Self Esteem: We go beyond the typical daycare education. Each week, teachers create a lesson plan that reflects a balance of teacher guided and child initiated activities to develop the children's emotional, social, physical and intellectual development as a group as well as individuals. In the weekly lesson plans, activities are created in multiple learning areas that include:
Balanced Learning and Fun: Our highly qualified teachers maintain a balance of fun and focus in the classroom. Each child is encouraged to learn and interact with others and explore their world in learning in small and large groups. Young children mature and develop skills at different rates. With this in mind, Small World Learning Center teachers track each child's progress.

Discovering New Achievements Every Day: For our older preschoolers, Small World Learning Center teachers use books and tools to expand a preschooler’s knowledge through weekly thematic units of learning and beginning reading and math.
Preparation For The School Years Ahead: We assess your child at the time of enrollment and chart their progress through homework and assignments throughout the year giving you an updated assessment at the time of conferences.
